Need an adventure Cruise Fix but know the Premium has a financial bite?

I adore adventure and expedition cruising. Though my wallet says we are mega cruise line sailors. You may know it pays to be loyal with the mega cruise lines. From added perks, discounts to completely free cruises through their casino programs. Learn about the mega lines here. But did you know, even the under dogs offer something for their happy return clientele.

We finally took our first UnCruise December 2025 not only was it truly amazing, it left us wanting more! Of course all good things, keep you wanting to come back for more, right?

Like the Big Lines, UnCruise has a loyal following. More than half our fellow sailors were repeat guests, many have sailed more than twice. Two couples, more than 8 times. The couple sailing their 9th cruise this sailing hit the biggest mile stone you can with UnCruise and even though I've completed my advisory training to be able to sell this line, I learned something new about their loyalty program. Not even sure how I could have missed this, your 10th sailing is free. Yep, free. If you sail with UnCruise 9 times, you get a complementary cruise of your choice. It does exclude two sailings, the Galapagos and the Aleutian Islands.

Now, I know we all get those free cruise offers from our favorite casino program at sea, but those expire or you lose the offers due to not sailing within a year or two and they stop sending them to since you lowered your rank in file. Plus think about all the ups and downs in the casinos it takes to get those offers. I've sailed a dozen times on big ships and played plenty in those casinos. The 2 free balcony offers I cashed in didn't really amount to much, especially since we cancelled the second one we planned for work reasons and now have been bumped off that cruise lines program for lack of activity... bummer...

UnCruise doesn't care how long it takes you to get to number 9, once you are there, that free cruise is waiting for you on your next trip.

Let's talk a bit more about the UnCruise Loyalty program & next cruise program.

Next Cruise:

If you make the commitment while still onboard you can save $500 a person for your next cruise. It cost $500 a person. Basically, for my husband and I, we each pay $500 and we get an email from UnCruise (and/or your travel agent, which is myself), a few days after you arrive home, showing we have paid $1000 and got matched $1000 off our next cruise.

The catch, you have to book this next cruise within two years of the sailing you are on now. Making you sailing within three years from the sailing you are on, depending on how long you wait to book this offer. After you select your sailing, you need to pay the balance on the deposit, which is 20% of the total new cruise. Other perks with the deal, the offers stack. If you book early and get a discount, that also adds to your new booking, if they have any posted offer, you get that too. Plus, not you are a past sailer with themes you get even more savings added. If you don't book, you lose the $500 each. You also have the right to transfer this as a gift.

UnCruise Loyalty program:

Uncruise rewards their loyal market with tons cash off all new bookings. The more you sail, the more you save. If you Sail once, your second sailing saves you $200 (below is copied from their website)
Save $200 per person on your 2nd cruise, $350 on your 3rd, $500 on your 4th and $700 on your 5th (or more) cruise

  • Take 9 cruises and sail for FREE on your 10th! (excludes the Galapagos Islands & the Aleutian Islands)

  • Beyond the Buoy: Sail with us 5+ times and become a member to save more

  • Have a question? Ask their Loyalty Specialist at monicav@uncruise.com

Therefor, our next cruise is already $1400 off, just for sailing once! Top that off with any specials they might have and it just sweetens the pot. (-$1000 for next cruise plus -$400 for our second cruise)

Another way to save is by booking through a certified travel advisor. If the date you are looking at doesn't have a featured special, work with a travel advisor, they may have the right connection to work out a deal on your behalf. It never hurts to ask!
